The honey is harvested from a local farm where the bee’s visit wildflowers and fruit orchards. The salt is from an ancient sea bed near Redmond, Utah and contains unique flecks of color that are the result of more than 50 natural trace minerals. This cheese is shaping up to be one of our best experiments yet and is a true expression of our local flavors. Promontory smoked with English Walnut Shells and Apples (6 oz cut). Ruth’s foodie past includes authoring a cookbook called Candymaking in 1987, she was a founding member of the Baker’s Dozen and she has appeared on Food Network with Bobby Flay and Al Roker. Pepperlane, like many great things, came from humble beginnings. What started as a family Christmas-time snack has grown to a family-owned full-time business. Jalapeno jelly was anything but common by any means in the late 1980's but Michele Trover always loved bringing new experiences, flavor and flair to her family’s holiday gatherings. It wasn't long before everyone wanted a jar of the green stuff for their next gathering.
